In honour of World Wildlife Day, Cornwall Birds (CBWPS), in collaboration with Ladock Parish Wildlife Group, invites nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers to a special guided walk. This event is set to take place in the scenic locale of Killigerran Head, located on the Roseland Peninsula, providing participants with a unique opportunity to explore the area’s natural beauty and diverse wildlife.

Scheduled for Saturday, 2 March 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, the walk aims to offer an immersive experience in the great outdoors, under the expert guidance of Rob Nicholls and Rowena Castillo-Nicholls. As walk leaders, they bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for wildlife conservation, promising an informative and engaging outing for all who attend.

Participants are requested to gather at the National Trust car park called Porth Farm by 9:50am, ensuring a prompt start to the morning’s adventure. The meeting spot, conveniently located with the grid reference SW867329 and postcode TR2 5EX, serves as the ideal starting point for the exploration of Killigerran Head’s stunning landscapes and the wildlife that inhabits them.

This event not only celebrates the global significance of World Wildlife Day but also emphasises the importance of local conservation efforts and the joy of connecting with nature. It presents a wonderful opportunity for community members to come together, learn about their natural surroundings, and take a step closer to nature.
