28 Birds in a Day: What This Wildlife Group Spotted on the Cornish Coast
Three-Part Birdwatching Tour Ends
Over the weekend, nature lovers from the Connect with Nature wildlife group took part in a three-part birdwatching tour, led by founder and chair Rowena Castillo-Nicholls.
The group began their day at Bedruthan Steps, followed by a visit to Park Head, and wrapped up the main tour at Trevose Head.

Weather Holds for Bonus Adventure
After what was described as an enjoyable and very interesting event, the group decided to extend their trip with a spontaneous visit to Davidstow Woods and Crowdy Reservoir.
The weather held for the entire outing, which helped make the experience even more rewarding. Across the locations, a total of 28 species of birds were seen and recorded.
Connecting with Nature
According to the group, Connect with Nature events are about much more than just spotting birds:
“Connect with Nature because it benefits both our mental health and physical wellbeing; doing something green and sustainable for our environment; appreciate the beauty and wonder of our natural world; and of course, to breath some fresh Cornish sea air.”
