More settled this week, with winds gradually easing.
Today:
A rather breezy day, particularly at the coasts. Mainly dry with bright intervals developing, though still a chance of a few scattered showers. Feeling chilly in the northeasterly breeze, with temperatures around average. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Tonight:
Dry to start overnight through increasingly cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle, mainly in the east. Remaining breezy, especially at the coasts. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Tuesday:
Patchy rain and drizzle gradually clearing to the south, but remaining mostly cloudy, although some brighter spells possible in the north and west later. Rather windy, though easing later. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
High pressure continues to dominate, bringing light winds, scattered cloud and sunny spells by day, and frost and fog by night. Turning a little cooler and increasingly cloudy by Friday.
