Nearly 900 Volunteers Tackle Cornwall’s Litter Problem – How Much Have They Collected So Far This Year?
Clean Cornwall’s litter-picking groups have kicked off 2025 with a huge effort, registering 48 clean-up events across the county so far. An impressive 889 volunteers have already taken part, removing waste from streets, beaches, and countryside areas.
170 Bags of Waste Cleared
Feedback has been received from 14 of Clean Cornwall’s groups, confirming a total of 170 bags of waste collected. While this is only a portion of the overall total, it highlights the scale of the work being done to keep Cornwall clean.
Don’t Forget to Log Your Collection
Clean Cornwall is encouraging all litter-picking groups to log their collections on their website, making it easier to track the impact of these efforts. Volunteers can record their stats here: Clean Cornwall Recording Statistics.
With more litter picks likely to be organised in the coming months, the effort to keep Cornwall beautiful continues to gather momentum.
