Thousands expected at Royal Cornwall Events Centre for huge vintage vehicle show

More than 1000 vintage vehicles are set to descend on Wadebridge this weekend for the annual Wheels Classic Vehicle Show, taking place on Sunday 20th July at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre.

Organised by Wadebridge Rotary, the show will celebrate all types of wheeled machines, attracting enthusiasts from across Cornwall and beyond.

From Classic Cars to Tractors and Tanks

The event will feature a huge range of vehicles, from classic cars, motorbikes, and trucks to tractors, military vehicles, stationary engines, and vans.

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the show, which has become one of Cornwall’s most popular automotive events.

Elizabeth Davey from Wadebridge Rotary said:

“We have a superb selection of vintage vehicles booked to attend this year’s event. There will be so much to see and do and something for everyone. It’s the perfect day out in Cornwall for those who love all kinds of vehicles.”

What Else to Expect

Alongside the impressive display of classic vehicles, visitors will find:

  • A variety of trade stands

  • An auto jumble

  • Food and drink outlets

  • Entertainment for younger guests

Gates open at 10am, with entry on the day costing £10 per person. Children under 12 go free, and parking is also free.

All for a Good Cause

The event isn’t just about the vehicles. It’s also a major fundraiser for local charities, with members and supporters of Wadebridge Rotary donating their time to keep costs low and maximise donations.

In 2024, the event raised £29,000, which was distributed among 18 organisations including:

  • Sunrise Appeal

  • Merlin Centre

  • Concern Wadebridge

  • Penhaligon’s Friends

Elizabeth added:

“We are hoping the 2025 event will be a roaring success like previous years, with more than 3000 people visiting last year. We are hugely thankful to all of our exhibitors who will be bringing their special vehicles to create what will be an incredible display of wheeled machines for everyone to enjoy.”
