Stunning Sustainable Fashion Show Set to Dazzle at Truro Cathedral

Published On: 3 October 2024Last Updated: 3 October 2024By

Get ready for an evening of fashion, fun, and eco-conscious entertainment as Cornwall Hospice Care hosts its Sustainable Fashion Show at the iconic Truro Cathedral. On Friday, 4th October 2024, from 7 pm to 10 pm, attendees will witness a celebration of style that’s good for both the planet and the community.

Fashion with a Purpose

The Sustainable Fashion Show promises an array of upcycled and pre-loved garments, with all featured outfits available for purchase. Cornwall Hospice Care staff, volunteers, and teams from various collaborating organisations will be hitting the catwalk to showcase a wide range of styles – from everyday brands like Primark to luxury labels such as Stella McCartney.

Sustainability lies at the heart of this event. Every item of clothing on display has been donated, ensuring these fashionable finds get a second life while helping to reduce waste. Cornwall Hospice Care is proud to lead by example in promoting sustainable practices through its retail operations, where customers can purchase preloved clothes, furniture, and homewares.

Buy your tickets now, as sales close at 6:30 pm on the day of the event. Tickets are priced at £10, with an additional £1.55 booking fee if purchased online. They can also be purchased at Cornwall Hospice Care shops and on the door.

What to Expect

The evening, hosted by Neil Caddy from Hits Radio Cornwall, will kick off at 7:30 pm with a fantastic fashion display. There will be two intervals featuring entertainment and an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets, Cornwall Hospice Care Christmas cards, and the fashionable outfits from the show.
