Get ready to make a difference in your community! The much-anticipated Truro Volunteers Day is set to take place this Sunday, April 21, at Lemon Quay from 11 am until 3 pm.

This event is a perfect platform for individuals looking to invest their time in voluntary services, offering a multitude of opportunities to meet with various organisations and groups that are eager for new volunteers.

A Hub of Voluntary Groups

Participants will find around 32 diverse groups assembled at Lemon Quay, ready to showcase the valuable work they do and looking for fresh ideas and additional hands. From The Blood Bikes providing urgent courier services, to the Police Special Constables who volunteer alongside law enforcement for community safety, there’s a group for every interest.

Additionally, attendees will have the chance to interact with members from Coast Watch, various male and female choirs, the Town Band, and numerous animal charities. Youth groups including the Army, RAF, Marine, and Sea Cadets will also be present, offering a glimpse into the world of youth training and development programmes.
