National Highways has announced that the A30 roadway between Boxheater and Scorrier will undergo a temporary closure starting from 8 pm on Friday, February 9th, until 6 am on Monday, February 12th. The closure is part of a planned operation, affecting both local and through traffic.

During this period, motorists are advised to anticipate changes in their usual routes. Traffic will be rerouted via the B3285, A3075, and B3277. Additionally, specific diversion routes have been established for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to ensure smooth traffic flow and minimise congestion.

Travellers and local residents are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance to accommodate the upcoming road closure.

For this closure, local access north and south at the new Chiverton interchange and via the B3284 at Chybucca will be maintained throughout. The weekend will be focused on drainage, concreting, central reservation work, barrier construction, bridge related construction activities and a traffic switch at Trevalso.

This weekend’s closure marks a significant impact on transportation within the region, and all road users are urged to stay informed and adjust their travel plans accordingly to avoid delays.
