Peggy Lee Loves Cornwall hits the road

Katrina Leskanich, best known as the lead singer of Katrina and the Waves, has released a new dog-friendly travel guide that explores the Cornish coast from a fresh perspective — through the eyes (and paws) of her four-legged companion, Peggy Lee.

Katrina, whose global hit Walking on Sunshine celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and who fronted the UK’s last Eurovision-winning song Love Shine a Light, took to the road with Sher Harper and their poodle Peggy Lee to create the guide.

A Cornish road trip with a wagging tail

The result is Peggy Lee Loves Cornwall — a family-friendly photographic book packed with places to visit around the coastline, including beach cafes, harbourside pubs, and dog-welcoming hotels. Along the way, the trio uncovered shipwrecks, smuggling tales, Celtic folklore and wild landscapes, all steeped in thousands of years of history.
