According to Parkdean Resorts’ data, the UK is set to experience the hottest days of the year between Wednesday 17th July and Friday 19th July, with temperatures expected to reach an average of 28.2°C. Another heatwave is predicted for early August, from Wednesday 7th to Tuesday 13th, with temperatures averaging 27.2°C. However, the first bout of hot weather will arrive from Saturday 22nd June to Friday 28th June, with temperatures expected to hit 25.2°C.

This data was analysed using UK climate data spanning the past five years, sourced from meteocentre.co.uk, to identify the dates in 2024 with the highest likelihood to experience temperatures over 24 degrees Celsius, considering three-day and seven-day periods.
