Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries in Torpoint Collision – Did You See What Happened?
A man in his 50s from Wales was seriously injured in a collision in Torpoint on Friday night, and police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Collision at Busy Junction
Officers were called at around 8.40pm on Friday 4th April following reports of a collision on Harvey Street, Torpoint, at the junction with Rowe Street.
The crash involved a silver Peugeot 3008 saloon and a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Rider Seriously Injured
The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. His pillion passenger, a woman also in her 50s, received minor injuries. Both individuals were from Wales.
The two people in the car were not injured.
Road Closed for Investigation
Police closed the road while they examined the scene, thanking the public for their patience during the disruption. The road was reopened at around 11.45pm that same night.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
