The Lost Gardens of Heligan Night Garden Returns with Dazzling New Wildlife Displays
Brand-new wildlife lanterns and light installations will bring the winter magic back to Heligan Night Garden, starting 15th November. This year, visitors will be treated to fresh lantern displays, including a playful family of foxes, alongside fan-favourite illuminations, all celebrating the natural world’s rare inhabitants.
A Magical Winter Trail
The Lost Gardens of Heligan, located near Mevagissey, will transform into a glowing spectacle, with sections of the trail bursting into life through vibrant colours and moving light displays. This year, the augmented art specialists Squidsoup return, following last year’s success, with two new immersive pieces sure to captivate visitors.
Visitors can follow the trail under a starry sky, surrounded by shimmering tunnels of light and trees adorned with jewel-like illuminations. The experience offers a sensory feast, with opportunities to toast marshmallows over a fire pit and enjoy warm winter treats. Friendly donkeys and other special guests from the Heligan Home Farm add even more charm to this magical experience.
Exciting Additions and Timeless Wonders
Laura Chesterfield, Head of Garden Experience at Heligan, said, “Whether it’s your first time or an annual tradition, everyone will enjoy the magic of our Night Garden.” Visitors can experience this winter wonderland from 15th November to 4th January, with tickets starting at £20.50 for adults and £11 for children. Under-threes and Essential Companions enter for free.
