Tragic Incident: Woman in Her 30s Dies in Collision Near St Teath

Fatal Collision on Rural Road

A woman in her 30s tragically lost her life following a collision near St Teath, Cornwall, on Wednesday, 15th January. Emergency services were alerted to the incident at approximately 9.50pm.

The collision involved a blue Mini Countryman on an unnamed rural road that connects St Teath to Trelill.

Investigation Underway

The driver, who was from the Bodmin area, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team are conducting investigations to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision. The road was closed to allow for the vehicle’s recovery and to facilitate their enquiries, reopening at around 7.55am on Thursday, 16th January.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information or dashcam footage that could assist their investigation to come forward.
