The incident, which took place on Sunday 7 July, required the swift response of the Padstow Coastguard Rescue Team and RNLI lifeguards.
Incident Overview
The vehicle was caught by the tide at Harlyn Bay, leading to a coordinated rescue effort. Authorities were alerted just before 5pm, prompting immediate action to ensure the situation was under control.
Successful Recovery
The driver of the van was safe and not inside the vehicle at the time it was caught by the tide.
