Create Bee Art and Celebrate the Harvest at Bosavern Farm

A free mosaic workshop is taking place at Bosavern Community Farm near St Just, offering participants the chance to create artistic bee-themed mosaics. The workshop, happening on Tuesday, 24th September, from 10:30 to 12:30, is open to anyone aged 8 to 88 and beyond. No previous experience is necessary, but booking is essential.

Create Bee-Inspired Art Along a Nature Trail

Led by experienced artists from Tough Dough, participants will create imaginary bees and pollinators in mosaic form, which will later be displayed along a nature trail at the farm. This workshop is funded by Good Growth, the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly NHS, Integrated Care Board, and Cornwall Community Foundation, in partnership with Artswell.

Save the Date for Bosavern’s Harvest Celebration

Bosavern Community Farm will also host its popular Harvest Celebration on Sunday, 6th October, from 12pm to 4pm. This annual event promises a day full of sustainable food, wildlife stalls, family-friendly craft activities, farm tours, and field games. Visitors can also explore a repair cafe, buy fresh vegetables, and learn about pollinator-friendly plants.

The event features live music from the rising Nos Lowen band Bagas Fellyon, inviting attendees to join in some Cornish dancing. Free health checks will be available, and there is plenty of field parking. It’s an ideal opportunity to introduce friends and family to the farm.
