Thousands of Pounds Worth of Boat Engines Stolen in St Austell Burglary
Police appeal for information after marine business targeted overnight
Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a marine equipment supplier in London Apprentice, St Austell, where outboard boat engines worth several thousands of pounds were stolen.
Break-in Causes Tens of Thousands of Pounds in Damage
The burglary happened between 6.30pm on Wednesday 7th May and 9am on Thursday 8th May 2025. During the break-in, three Suzuki or Yamaha outboard engines were taken. Each engine weighs between 200 and 300kg.
Tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage was also caused to the boats the engines were taken from. The suspects damaged perimeter fencing and CCTV cameras to access the site.

Officers are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information or dashcam footage to come forward.
