St Austell Fire Station Seeks Unwanted Teddies for Charity Event
St Austell Community Fire Station has put out a call for donations of unwanted teddy bears to be used in their upcoming “Teddy Tombola” during the station’s open day on Saturday, 7th September. The event is scheduled to take place from 11 am to 4 pm and promises a day filled with activities, demonstrations, and entertainment for all ages.
Teddy Tombola: Donate Your Unwanted Bears
In a recent Facebook post, St Austell Community Fire Station asked for donations of teddies, which will be given a new lease of life in the Teddy Tombola. The station is requesting that any unwanted teddies be dropped off by 5th September. All proceeds raised from the event will go to charity.
A Day of Fun and Community Spirit
The open day at the St Austell Community Fire Station is set to be a lively affair, with emergency service vehicles on display, demonstrations, games, competitions, and a range of refreshments including a barbecue, cakes, and drinks. The event is designed to bring the community together, offering a glimpse into the workings of the fire station while raising funds for a good cause.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the open day, contribute to the Teddy Tombola, and enjoy a day of fun and learning. With a variety of attractions planned, the event promises to be a highlight in the local community calendar.
How to Get Involved
If you have any unwanted teddies that you would like to donate, please drop them off at St Austell Community Fire Station before 5th September. Your contributions will not only help in raising funds for charity but also bring joy to new homes.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support your local fire station and enjoy a day filled with activities for all the family.
