Man Arrested After Ongoing Disorder on St Austell Street
A man has been arrested, charged and remanded to court following repeated incidents of alcohol-related disorderly behaviour and harassment in the Pellymounter Road area of St Austell.
The arrest was made on Wednesday 23rd April, according to a statement shared by St Austell Police.
Court Action Underway
The male suspect, who police say has been involved in ongoing disruptive incidents, is now facing charges for his behaviour. Officers from the Neighbourhood Team have requested that the court consider applying a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) upon conviction. The aim of the CBO is to prevent and deter any further antisocial conduct.
Local Support Acknowledged
St Austell Police thanked local residents for their help, stating:
“Thank you to local residents for providing information and evidence to support the investigation.”
Their contribution was described as important in progressing the case.
