Dog Owner Summonsed to Court After Livestock Worrying Incident in Lanlivery

A dog owner is set to appear in court after an incident in the Lanlivery area where two rams were killed by dogs earlier this year.

Two Rams Killed in January

According to a Facebook post from St Austell Police, the Neighbourhood Team investigated a case of livestock worrying which took place in January 2025. It was alleged that dogs belonging to the owner attacked and killed two rams during the incident.

Following the investigation, the dog owner has now been summonsed to court.

Reminder to Keep Dogs Under Control

St Austell Police said the case serves as a worthwhile reminder to all dog owners to ensure their pets are kept under control around livestock.
