Dangerous Off-Road Bikers Put Lives at Risk in St Austell – Police Appeal for Information
Police are calling for information after a series of sightings of off-road bikes being ridden illegally in and around St Austell. Officers have expressed significant concern over the reckless and anti-social manner in which the bikes are being used, posing a serious danger to both riders and the public.
Bikers Spotted Without Helmets
According to St Austell Police, riders and pillion passengers have been seen without helmets, increasing the risk of serious injury or worse. The bikes have been reported in several locations, including:
- St Blazey
- St Austell
- Bugle
The behaviour of these bikers has raised alarm among officers, who are urging the public to come forward with any information.
How to Report Sightings
Anyone who has seen these bikes or has information about those responsible is encouraged to report it via 101 or through the police website, quoting 50250018718.
If the situation presents an immediate danger or emergency, the public is advised to call 999.
Police are thanking the community for their support in helping to address this dangerous behaviour.
