Celtic Beer Festival Returns This November: Don’t Miss Cornwall’s Biggest Beer Event

Published On: 2 June 2024Last Updated: 2 June 2024By

The much-anticipated Celtic Beer Festival, Cornwall’s largest event for beer enthusiasts, is making a grand return on Saturday, 25th November, from 11am to 11pm.

This marks the festival’s first appearance since 2019 and promises to be an extraordinary celebration, more extensive and exciting than ever before.

Supporting Good Causes

All profits from the ticket sales will be donated to St Austell Brewery’s Charitable Trust, which aids charities, communities, and individuals in need across the South West. Since its inception in 2003, the Trust has raised over £1 million for various good causes. Piers Thompson, External Relations Director at St Austell Brewery, highlighted the festival’s philanthropic impact, noting, “Festival ticket sales alone have raised over £200K for the Trust since the event was first launched in 1999, so we can’t wait to raise even more this November.”

A Unique Venue and Experience

Held in the historic cellars of the Victorian-era brewery, the festival will feature over 100 varieties of ales, stouts, lagers, and craft beers. Attendees can look forward to tasting a series of limited-edition beers brewed especially for the festival by St Austell Brewery. Additionally, the event will showcase beers from other renowned brewers across Cornwall and the wider South West.

Entertainment and More

The festival isn’t just about beer; it also promises a day filled with top-tier musical entertainment from local artists and a selection of delicious food. Georgina Young, Brewing Director at St Austell Brewery, expressed her excitement about the festival’s return, stating, “We’ve been working through plans for a fresh and exciting approach for 2023 and can’t wait to welcome everybody back again, to celebrate good beer, good music, and good times together.”

Save the Date

With its blend of exclusive beers, vibrant entertainment, and charitable cause, the Celtic Beer Festival is set to be a highlight of the season. Keep an eye out for more information on tickets, which will be available soon.
