Join the Heroes of the Sea: St Agnes RNLI Seeks New Volunteers

Published On: 22 May 2024Last Updated: 22 May 2024By

In the still of a cold, wet winter night, the blare of a pager breaks the silence, signalling a call to action for the dedicated volunteers of St Agnes RNLI Lifeboat. Without hesitation, they throw on clothes and drive to the lifeboat station. Minutes later, they are launching the D-Class inshore lifeboat into the dark waters, ready to save lives at sea.

A Call to Serve

For those who have watched the St Agnes RNLI crew training on Sunday mornings or Thursday evenings and thought, “I’d love to do that, but…” now is the time to act. St Agnes RNLI is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their ranks as sea-going crew, shore crew, and launching authorities.

Get Involved

No marine experience is necessary to become a part of this life-saving team. The RNLI values energy and commitment above all. Prospective volunteers have the opportunity to meet the crew and learn more about the roles available on two upcoming dates: Thursday 30 May and Thursday 13 June, starting at 6pm.

How to Reach Out

Anyone interested in joining the St Agnes RNLI team or with questions about the roles can send a message through their Facebook page. This is a unique chance to become part of a respected organisation that plays a crucial role in saving lives at sea.

Take the plunge and make a difference with St Agnes RNLI.
