Holidaymakers’ Stunning Snaps Help Fund St Agnes RNLI Lifeboat

Guests at a luxury holiday retreat in Cornwall have turned their holiday photos into a force for good, helping to raise funds for the St Agnes RNLI lifeboat.

A Calendar with a Purpose

Fiona and Gary Crossley, owners of Lambriggan Court, have been inviting their guests to submit their best holiday snaps for a special calendar. The calendar is then sold to raise money for the local lifeboat station, supporting the RNLI’s lifesaving work.

On Sunday, the volunteer crew at St Agnes RNLI welcomed Fiona and her family to their regular training session. She was joined by her daughter Sara and son-in-law Chucky, who tied the knot last year in St Agnes. Alongside the proceeds from the calendar, the newlyweds made an additional donation, having asked their wedding guests to support the charity in place of traditional gifts.

A Warm Welcome at the Lifeboat Station

Volunteer crew member Laura Penhaul received the cheque on behalf of the station and expressed gratitude for the continued support.

“It is so kind of Fiona and Gary and their guests at Lambriggan Court to choose to support the RNLI. We know how much hard work goes into creating the calendar each year and it is always lovely to welcome Fiona back to the station.”

The RNLI relies entirely on donations to fund its lifesaving activities. Those wishing to support the charity can find more information here: RNLI Donations.
