Former Exeter Chiefs Academy Star Ollie Andrews Returns to Cornwall to Join Cornish Pirates

Truro-born prop forward Ollie Andrews is set to return to Cornwall, joining the Cornish Pirates for the upcoming season.

The 24-year-old, who previously played for Coventry, has signed a contract with the team, bringing his experience and local roots back to his home county.

A Promising Career Path

Ollie Andrews began his rugby journey at the tender age of five, playing at Polwhele House School. His passion for the sport continued to grow as he attended Truro School and played for Truro RFC. A talented player from a young age, Ollie became a member of the Exeter Chiefs Academy, showcasing his skills and dedication to the game.

Pursuing further education and rugby development, Ollie attended Cardiff Metropolitan University. During this time, he also played in the ‘A’ league for the Welsh regional team Dragons, gaining valuable experience and honing his abilities on the field.
