Another Name Confirmed for Cornish Pirates’ Upcoming Campaign
Cornish Pirates centre Joe Elderkin has officially signed up for the 2025/26 season, becoming the latest player to commit to the club as preparations continue for the next campaign.
Joe Elderkin Adds His Name to the List
The news was announced at the end of a busy week for the Cornish Pirates. Aged 26, Joe has already made 83 appearances for the club and scored seven tries in Pirates’ colours.
Sharing his excitement, Joe, who was bred in Cornwall, said:
“I’ve absolutely loved my time at Cornish Pirates and have always been honoured to wear the jersey. I’m looking forward to another year with the team and to see where we can go.”
More Signings Secured
Joe joins a growing list of players who have quickly committed their future to the Pirates. The other squad members who have so far signed up, in order, are scrum half Dan Hiscocks, lock Josh King, prop Billy Young, lock Charlie ‘Buster’ Rice, wing Arthur Relton, and prop Ollie Andrews.
The club’s steady stream of re-signings signals strong foundations being laid for the upcoming season.
