Camborne RFC Scores £250,000 From Camborne Town Deal Funding for Major Facilities Upgrade
Camborne RFC has successfully secured £250,000 in funding through Camborne Town Deal to modernise facilities for its supporters. This investment, confirmed by Club Chairman Andy Gill, will be used to demolish and rebuild the outdated toilet block behind the West Bank, ensuring the facilities meet current 21st-century standards.
Key Players in Securing Funding
This funding approval is largely attributed to the dedicated efforts of Camborne RFC Ltd. Board members, Richard Simeons and Martin Symons. Their committed pursuit of this and previous funding opportunities, along with their presentation to the Town Deal Bid board, played a crucial role in securing the investment.
Chairman Andy Gill expressed the club’s appreciation for their work, stating, “Camborne RFC Ltd. are indebted to Board members Richard Simeons and Martin Symons in their pursuit of this and previous funding.”
