The Pirates Amateurs have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Pirates Supporters’ Club (PSC) for a £400 cheque presented to them recently. The funds were raised through the Tea Bar, which the PSC operates at Mennaye Field on match days.
The PSC, though no longer as robust as it was in past decades, continues to operate thanks to the dedication of a small group of individuals. Their ongoing efforts ensure the club’s name and work live on, despite challenges.
The donation was presented to Pirates Amateurs’ chairman, Jack Nicholas, by Ann Tucker and Wendy Stirling. Ann and Wendy, alongside Tinks Youngson and Diane Freeman, are long-standing stalwarts of the PSC, whose dedication has kept the group active and relevant.
