A388 Collision Near Saltash Leaves Multiple Injured – Police Seek Witnesses

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash-Cam Footage Following Collision

A serious road traffic collision near Saltash on Wednesday 4th December has left an elderly woman with potentially life-changing injuries. The incident, which occurred on the A388 at around 2:30pm, involved a white Ford Focus and a blue Nissan Qashqai.

Multiple Injuries Reported

Emergency services responded to the collision, with passengers in the Ford Focus and the driver of the Nissan Qashqai being taken to hospital.

• The front seat passenger in the Ford Focus, a woman in her 80s, is being treated for potentially life-changing injuries.
• The Qashqai driver, a woman in her 40s, and two child passengers in the Focus sustained minor injuries.
• The Ford Focus driver also suffered minor injuries.

Road Closures for Investigation

The A388 was closed while officers from the Roads Policing Team conducted an investigation at the scene. Police thanked the public for their patience during the closure.
