RSPCA Cornwall Launches 100KM Challenge with a Canine Twist

Published On: 24 January 2024Last Updated: 24 January 2024By

RSPCA Cornwall is calling all dog lovers to sign up for an exciting 100KM challenge, set to take place from 1st February to 29th February. This unique event encourages participants to complete the distance with their furry friends, promoting both fitness and bonding with pets.

Participants in this challenge will not only enjoy the health benefits of regular walks but also contribute to a noble cause. As a self-funded charity, RSPCA Cornwall relies on such initiatives to support their work. Each step taken in this challenge makes a difference in the lives of animals in need.

To add an element of fun and recognition, the RSPCA is offering a free dog bandana for every participant who receives their first donation. This gesture is designed to encourage more people to join and raise funds while also celebrating the role of pets in this endeavour.

Dubbed “Take The Lead: Walk With Purpose At Your Own Pace,” the challenge emphasises the flexible nature of the event. Participants can complete the 100KM at their own pace, making it a suitable activity for people and dogs of all fitness levels.

For those interested in joining the challenge and making a difference visit the JustGiving event page. This event not only promises to be a fun and fulfilling experience for participants and their canine companions but also supports the crucial work of the RSPCA in caring for and protecting animals.
