The certificate was presented by the Provincial Grand Master, Bill Cook, highlighting the couple’s significant impact within the community and the society.

Recognition from the Top

The special certificate, endorsed by Barbara Needham, the Grand Master of the Order of Oddfellows, and Jane Nelson, the Secretary of the Order and Chief Executive Officer, serves as a formal acknowledgment of Tina and Pete’s exceptional dedication. As active members of the society, with Pete as the District Secretary and Tina as the District Deputy Grand Master, their work has not only benefited society members but has also extended to various charitable activities outside the organisation.

A Surprise Honour

Bill Cook, a local businessman and the Provincial Grand Master, praised the couple for their continuous support and assistance to members in need, as well as their involvement in local charities. Their efforts were brought to the attention of the Unity Head Office through commendations from fellow district members, underlining the profound impact of their work.
