Man Injured in Knife Attack: Suspect Sought After Redruth Assault
Police have launched an appeal after a man was injured in an assault in Redruth town centre yesterday morning (6th May).
Assault in alleyway off Fore Street
The incident happened at around 10.30am on Tuesday in an alleyway off Fore Street, Redruth. A man was assaulted and sustained injuries which are believed to have been caused by a knife.
Police say they believe the victim and the suspect are known to each other and enquiries are ongoing to locate the suspect.
Public urged to help
Inspector Louisa Brown said:
“We understand this incident may cause concern within the community and would like to reassure the public that we believe it involved two people who are known to each other.
If you were in the area at the time or have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact us.”
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault or who has relevant dashcam footage.
