Lost Dog Found Wandering in Redruth – But What Happened Next Will Melt Your Heart
Officers on patrol reunite lonely pup with owner on gloomy Monday evening
A routine evening foot patrol turned into a heartwarming moment for Camborne, Pool and Redruth Police after officers spotted a small white dog wandering alone near Kresen Kernow in Redruth.
The dog, described as a “cute little white dog,” appeared to be without its owner, prompting immediate concern from the Neighbourhood Police Team (NPT). Officers, who were out on foot patrol at the time, were worried for its welfare – and, as they said, “because we absolutely love dogs.”
According to a Facebook post, the officers scooped up the four-legged friend and quickly managed to locate the owner.
Happy Ending for Pup and Owner
The short search ended with what the team described as “one happy owner and a warm doggy,” calling it a “pawsome result” and “just the thing to brighten up a wet and gloomy Monday.”
No further details about the dog or its owner have been shared, but the post served as a cheerful start to the week and a reminder of the work neighbourhood officers do beyond fighting crime.
