Stolen Masterpieces: High-Value Paintings Taken from Penzance Property
Police appeal for information after theft of £12,000 worth of artwork
Police are investigating the theft of two high-value paintings stolen from a secure but empty property on Morrab Road, Penzance.
When and Where?
The paintings were taken at some point between 1st February and 13th February. During this time, several people attended the property to carry out work.
The Missing Artwork
The stolen paintings, both oil on canvas and measuring approximately 70x50cm, are valued at around £6,000 each. They are titled:
- Sunday Walkers, Hayle
- Autumn Days, Penlee Park
How to Help
Police are urging anyone with information that could assist their investigation to get in touch. If you saw anything suspicious in the area or have knowledge of the paintings’ whereabouts, you can contact officers by calling 101 or visiting the police website and quoting reference 5025003850.
