Sainsbury’s Penzance Boosts Penlee RNLI with Over £1,500 in December Donations
Members of Penlee RNLI’s fundraising team visited Sainsbury’s in Penzance on Thursday, 9th January, to present a special thank-you certificate to store manager Emma Clemens-Tresidder.
Supporting Life-Saving Efforts
The presentation was made in recognition of Sainsbury’s support, which allowed Penlee RNLI’s fundraisers to collect donations in-store during December. Thanks to the generosity of shoppers, £1,536.75 was raised to support Penlee RNLI’s voluntary crew in their life-saving work at sea.
Certificate Presentation
The event saw branch chairman Janet Madron, store manager Emma Clemens-Tresidder, and fundraising chairman Eric Taylor come together to mark the successful fundraising effort.
Penlee RNLI’s voluntary crew relies heavily on public donations to continue their mission of saving lives along Cornwall’s coastline.
