Children Left Disappointed After Sudden Disappearance

Parents and children in Penzance have been left stunned after the disappearance of a well-loved piece of play equipment from Penlee Park playground.

Over the past few days, it seems someone has unbolted and stolen the popular rocking horse, which had been securely fixed to the ground. Penzance Council confirmed the incident in a statement released earlier this week, suggesting the horse didn’t simply ‘bolt’ but was deliberately removed.

An Unbelievable Theft

“As hard as it is to believe that someone would steal play equipment from a children’s play area, this is what appears to have happened,” the council said.

The loss has caused disappointment, especially for the little ones who regularly enjoyed playing on the rocking horse.
