Penzance’s New Creative Workspace ‘Pixel’ Opens on 27th January – First Two Months Half Price

A brand-new creative workspace, Pixel, is set to open its doors on Causewayhead in Penzance this Monday, 27th January, bringing fresh opportunities for local artists, makers, and businesses.

A Hub for Creative Talent

Built on the site of a former car park, Pixel offers a blend of shared studios and modern coworking spaces designed to cater to individuals and businesses of all sizes. The building spans three floors, with shared studios starting at £100 per month and coworking desks available from just £5 per hour (excluding VAT).

From light-filled studios for artists and makers to more conventional desk spaces with stunning views of the town and harbour, the workspace aims to foster collaboration and creativity within the Penzance community.

Sustainability at the Forefront

Pixel’s eco-friendly credentials are a key feature of the new workspace. Designed by award-winning architects Stride Treglown, the building has achieved a BREAAM Excellent rating, showcasing innovative strategies to reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.

Gavin Eddy, Founder & CEO of Forward Space, who secured the contract to run the building last year, said:

“We’re very excited to be opening our doors after finishing our internal fit-out with our long-term collaborators, Shape Studio.

“We want Pixel to be a physical representation of the artistic and creative community of Penzance, which is why we’re dubbing it ‘a community of creators’. We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response so far and are so excited to see the incredible talent of Penzance take up residence in the building.”
