Penlee Lifeboat’s RNLI Shop Moves to Causewayhead

Penlee Lifeboat’s RNLI shop has officially moved from Market Jew Street to a new home on Causewayhead in Penzance.

The shop opened its doors at the new location on Saturday 17th May, with Penlee Coxswain Patch Harvey and a team of volunteers arriving at 10am to mark the occasion and show their support.

Now fully fitted out and stocked with RNLI merchandise, the new premises offer a fresh space for the volunteer team who run the shop throughout the week.

Hon Sec Rosalie Whitlock said the shop is currently understaffed and more volunteers are needed to keep things running smoothly:

“We need more volunteers to help out at the shop which is open Monday to Saturday each week with 3 hour shifts from 10 til 1 and 1 til 4.”

Rosalie added:

“Please get in touch if you have some time to support us because the fund-raising from the shop will go towards helping our crews save lives at sea.”
