Fallen Tree Causes Disruption at Wellfields Car Park Penzance

Published On: 27 September 2024Last Updated: 27 September 2024By

Penzance Council have informed us that a tree has fallen on the boundary of Wellfields Car Park, blocking several parking spaces at the top end of the area.

The council’s Leisure & Amenities Team, along with contractors, are currently on site working to remove the tree and ensure the area is safe for public use. The affected section of the car park has been cordoned off, and visitors are asked to follow instructions from the on-site team.

Car Park Partially Closed

While the tree is being cleared, a portion of the car park remains inaccessible. The council has apologised for any inconvenience this may cause and has promised to provide further updates later in the day.

Safety Measures in Place

For the safety of visitors, the area around the fallen tree has been secured, and the council has urged the public to respect the cordons and cooperate with the staff present.

Please stay tuned for further updates as the council works to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Latest Update

The tree has now been removed and Penzance Council have had to cordon off 4 bays until the wall can be fixed.
Penzance Council has thanked the community for their patience!
