Penlee Lifeboat is calling on the community to support its powerful film, which has been entered into this year’s Smiley Charity Film Awards. The film recounts the extraordinary courage of the Penlee Lifeboat crew during a dramatic rescue mission on 31st October 2022.

A Silver Medal Rescue

The film highlights a rescue during hurricane conditions in Mount’s Bay, where the crew saved eight people from a yacht. This incredible operation earned Penlee Lifeboat a prestigious silver medal for bravery.
