Penzance Council is on the lookout for an experienced Collections Officer to join the team at Penlee House Gallery & Museum, with applications now open for the role.

A Hands-On Role in Cornwall’s Cultural Hub

The successful candidate will work closely with the Curator to manage Penlee House’s art and artefact collection, ensuring its care and preservation. The role also involves assisting with temporary exhibitions, in-house displays, and overseeing collections-based volunteers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cataloguing collections
  • Preparing for and installing exhibitions
  • Answering enquiries related to the collection
  • Day-to-day management of artwork and artefacts

Competitive Salary & Application Details

The role offers a salary of £29,093 – £30,559, depending on experience.
