Emergency Services Called to Treyarnon Bay After Cliff Fall
Coastguard also called to incident in Padstow Estuary earlier this month
Treyarnon Bay rescue on 9th May
HM Coastguard Padstow has confirmed they were called to Treyarnon Bay at 09.28am on Thursday 9th May following reports that someone had fallen from the cliff.
The casualty had slipped and fallen approximately three metres. They were treated at the scene by a community first responder, paramedics from Cornwall Air Ambulance and the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. RNLI lifeguards from Padstow were also involved in the rescue.
After initial treatment, the casualty was moved into the shelter of the lifeguard hut before being transferred into the care of the ambulance service. The Coastguard team said: “We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.”

Earlier incident in Padstow Estuary
On Wednesday 1st May, the team was called to Padstow Harbour at 09.39am to support Devon & Cornwall Police with an incident in the estuary. No further details about that tasking have been released at this time.

The Coastguard reminds the public: “If you see anyone in trouble on or near the coast, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
