Run To The Sun announces plans to focus on RTTS 26 instead

In an emotional message shared on Facebook, Run To The Sun (RTTS) confirmed today that this year’s highly anticipated RTTS 25 event has been cancelled. Instead, the team will now concentrate their efforts on delivering RTTS 26.

Challenging times for the event industry

In a heartfelt statement posted on 25th April 2025, Andreas and the RTTS team said, “It is with a heavy heart that we must share the difficult decision to cancel the RTTS 25 event and shift our focus towards RTTS 26.”

The team highlighted that this decision was not made lightly. RTTS is described as being “so much more than just a business” and represents their “love, passion, and dedication.”

The announcement pointed to rising costs across the industry and a more cautious audience impacting ticket sales. “We understand that these are tough times and that many are being prudent with their spending,” the post said.

Ticket rollovers and refunds available

All existing tickets for RTTS 25 will automatically roll over to RTTS 26. For those who would prefer a refund, details on how to request one will be shared next Tuesday.

The RTTS team emphasised their desire to maintain the high quality and safety standards that their community expects. “Our goal has always been to provide the highest quality and safest experience possible, and we don’t feel we can meet the expectations of our community at this time,” they said.

Not the end for Run To The Sun

Although this year’s gathering won’t be taking place, Andreas reassured the RTTS community that this is not the end for the beloved event. “This decision breaks our hearts, but we want to assure you that this is not the end of the road for RTTS,” the post concluded.
