Newquay Beer Festival 2024: Everything You Need to Know About Newquay’s Epic Beer Festival

Published On: 15 September 2024Last Updated: 15 September 2024By

The highly anticipated Newquay Beer Festival is back for its 11th year, taking place from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September at Hendra Holiday Park. With more than 100 beers and ciders to sample, as well as a range of gins from Cornish favourites, this year’s festival is set to be bigger and better than ever.

A Weekend Packed With Fun

While the festival is a dream for beer and cider lovers, it’s not just about the drinks. The event promises live music, great food, and entertainment throughout the weekend, making it a hit with locals and visitors alike. Everyone involved in the event, including the music artists, donates their time, creating a fantastic atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Festival-goers can soak up the fun without the hassle of finding their way home, as Hendra Holiday Park offers camping pitches for tents, caravans, camper vans, and motorhomes. The camping option allows visitors to stay close to the action and make the most of the weekend.

Charity at the Heart of the Festival

Since it began in 2013, Newquay Beer Festival, organised by the Newquay Towan Blystra Lions, has raised an impressive £100,000 for local charities. By attending the event, you can have fun while contributing to a great cause, with all proceeds going to support organisations within the community.

Ticket and Camping Information

The festival opens its doors at 11am on Friday and Saturday, running until 11pm, and from 12pm to 6pm on Sunday. Tickets include entry to the site, a souvenir glass with the beer festival logo, and a wristband that allows for the purchase of drinks. You can enter and leave the site freely during the event.

For those looking to camp, Hendra Holiday Park offers grass pitches suitable for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. These pitches are available at discounted rates when purchased with festival tickets, and each pitch accommodates up to four people.

Tickets are available now here, so make sure to grab yours before they sell out. For those wanting to camp, bookings can be made directly with Hendra by calling 01637 875778 and quoting ‘BF24’.

Family-Friendly Fun

While parts of the site are only open to those over 18, families are welcome to attend. With plenty of attractions on-site, including the Oasis indoor fun pool, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Do note that a supplementary charge applies for access to the pool.

Keep an eye on the Newquay Beer Festival’s website and social media channels for updates on live acts, featured beers, and festival announcements as the event draws near.
