Louise, originally from Lancashire, first visited Newquay in 1966. This initial visit sparked a tradition, and the Hesketh family returned to the beloved coastal town every year until the pandemic. Louise’s husband, Jeff, along with their children John and Wayne, cherish fond memories of her enjoying Harbour beach and watching the lifeboats during their exercises and shouts.

He received the cheque from John Hesketh, who presented it on behalf of himself and his brother Wayne.
