Fistral Beach Hotel Launches New ‘Waves of Summer’ Afternoon Tea for 2025

Available daily from 1st July at the Fistral Beach Hotel

A new seaside-inspired afternoon tea is launching at the Fistral Beach Hotel this summer, offering a seasonal menu of sweet and savoury treats with sweeping views across Newquay’s iconic Fistral Beach.

Running from 1st July to 31st August 2025, the ‘Waves of Summer’ Afternoon Tea will be served daily between 12pm and 4pm in the Dune Restaurant, priced at £25 per person.

Summer flavours by the sea

The afternoon tea features a menu designed to evoke summer on the Cornish coast, with a mix of classic and creative dishes.

On the sweet side, guests can enjoy:

• Raspberry choux bun

• Black Forest brownie

• Mango and passion fruit cheesecake

• Peach bavarois

Savoury items include:

• Coronation chicken sandwich

• Cucumber and citrus mayo sandwich

• Cornish gouda and broccoli quiche

• Onion and sage sausage roll

As expected, the experience wouldn’t be complete without freshly baked scones, served with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Optional upgrades

Guests can add a ‘Cocktail of the Month’ for £12.50 or toast the view with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne for £17 per person.

The afternoon tea will be available daily from 1st July until 31st August at the Fistral Beach Hotel’s Dune Restaurant, overlooking one of Cornwall’s best-known beaches.
