Young people in the Newlyn area are being invited to share their thoughts on trees in a new series of interactive research workshops. The Centre in Newlyn is organising the sessions, which aim to explore young people’s perspectives on ‘trees outside of woodland.’

Dates and Details

The workshops are specifically for children aged 10-14 and will be held on the following dates:

  • Thursday, 26th September
  • Thursday, 3rd October
  • Thursday, 10th October

All sessions will run from 5 pm to 7 pm at The Centre, Newlyn.

Parents interested in registering their children or learning more about the rewards and reimbursement available for participants can contact the centre via email at enquiry.thecentrenewlyn@gmail.com or call 01736 365890.

These workshops offer an opportunity for young people to engage in a meaningful discussion about the environment and their feelings towards trees in their local surroundings.
