National Trust Godolphin is offering an exciting opportunity for families to engage in outdoor activities during this February half term. The estate is hosting a ‘countryside explorers trail,’ providing a perfect plan for families looking to have a memorable and adventurous experience.
Participants are encouraged to embark on the orange route walk, a wintery adventure that promises to be both fun and educational. The trail is an excellent way for children to tick off some of the activities listed in the ’50 things to do before you’re 11 3/4,’ a challenge designed to encourage outdoor exploration and discovery. As families navigate the estate surrounding Godolphin, they will encounter various activities that allow them to connect with nature and learn about the countryside.
Given the seasonal weather, visitors are reminded to bring along their wellies for a comfortable experience as they traverse the outdoor terrain. After the trail, families can warm up and relax with a hot drink available at the Piggery tea room, offering a cosy end to the adventure.
This special event is open to all, with normal admission fees applying. Interested visitors can find the trail at the Welcome Hut at National Trust Godolphin. The Countryside Explorers Trail offers a unique opportunity for families to enjoy the outdoors, engage in educational activities, and create lasting memories this February half term.
