Soundwaves Beach Party Set for Sennen to Support Lafrowda Festival

Local DJs, summer vibes, and a good cause – here’s what to expect

A unique beach party is coming to Sennen on Friday 12th July, as local DJ Jacob Harvey – known as CUB – returns from South America to host Soundwaves, a celebration of music, community and sunset dancing.

A Midsummer Dance Inspired by Lafrowda

Working in collaboration with Sennen Surf Lodge, Jacob is bringing together local DJs and a full soundsystem for what’s promised to be a stunning sunset party on the beach. The event is described as an “Ode to the St Just festival, Lafrowda”, and aims to capture the spirit of midsummer with a dance for everyone.

Supporting the Next Generation of Festival-Goers

Soundwaves also includes a fundraising element, with a portion of every ticket sold going towards funding the next Lafrowda Festival. Organisers say the aim is to ensure future generations can experience their first live festival in their home village of St Just.
