Cornwall’s Rewind Radio Celebrates 3rd Anniversary with Exciting New Milestones
Cornwall’s Rewind Radio is celebrating its third anniversary today, reaching a significant milestone in its growth journey. Over the past three years, the local station has become a vital part of Cornwall’s community, providing a mix of music, news, and local content.
Office Expansion and New Staff
As Rewind Radio continues to attract a larger audience, it has announced the expansion of its offices to accommodate new staff. This move reflects the station’s commitment to supporting its growing listener base and ensuring the quality of its programming remains top-notch.
Upcoming Radiothon for Local Charities
To mark the occasion, Rewind Radio is hosting a Radiothon on 31st October 2024, aiming to raise money and awareness for three important charities: HD Livin’, Cornwall Hospice Care, and Penhaligon’s Friends. Sponsored by Focus Technology in Redruth and Carers Break CIC, the event will include special segments, interviews, auctions, and music, bringing the community together for a charitable cause.
Exciting New Partnership with BYD Truro
In addition to the Radiothon, Rewind Radio has announced a new partnership with BYD Truro, part of City West Motors based in Tresillian. As part of the collaboration, Managing Director Richard Woods was gifted a brand new BYD Seal, an electric vehicle boasting a range of over 350 miles and a charge time of just 37 minutes. This gift will help Richard stay connected and spread the station’s message throughout Cornwall and beyond.
“Rewind Radio has come so far in just three years, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a team,” Richard said. “The support from our community, partners, and sponsors has been overwhelming. The new BYD Seal will certainly keep me on the move as we continue to expand and connect with our listeners.”
For those interested in experiencing the BYD Seal, Daniel Preston from BYD Truro is offering test drives. Contact Daniel on 01872 301380 or visit the showroom in Tresillian for more details.
Rewind Radio has expressed its gratitude to listeners, sponsors, and the community for their ongoing support. With new staff, exciting partnerships, and the upcoming Radiothon, the future looks brighter than ever for this Cornish station.
