Aussie Band Old Mervs Set to Perform In Falmouth This November
West Australian duo Old Mervs are heading to the UK for the first time this autumn, with a headline show scheduled at the Princess Pavilions in Falmouth on 27th November.
Australian Success and UK Tour
Having recently completed a string of sold-out tours across Australia and New Zealand, the two-piece—comprising singer Dave House and drummer Henry Carrington-Jones—are bringing their energetic garage surf rock sound to British shores. Known for infectious melodies and anthemic choruses, the band’s live performances have made them a hit back home, and they are now gearing up to wow new crowds in the UK.
The tour kicks off in Manchester before heading to Glasgow, Birmingham, London, Bournemouth, and Bristol, with the Falmouth date marking their much-anticipated Cornwall debut.
From Rural Australia to Global Stages
Dave and Henry’s musical journey began in a small rural town in south-western Australia, where they started playing music together in between school and farm work. Since then, Old Mervs have gained international recognition, supporting the likes of The Wombats and Liam Gallagher, and building a dedicated fanbase along the way.
Cornish fans can look forward to hearing some of their most popular tracks, including “Sweetheart,” “Cellphone,” and their latest single “What You’ve Lost,” along with fresh material.
